Last Sat morning, we were supposed to go for our usual morning stroll at upper pierce reservoir (贝雅士蓄水池上段). I was rather sad when I heard the sound of rain drops in the early morning. Sure enough, daddy said the roads & ground are still wet and the moment I waited for…the whole week of waiting…all gone, trip cancelled, kaput. *woof! woof!*

My stay-in groomer called for me at around 4pm and I was groomed. I had my bath, blown dry, pedicure & manicure all done by 5.30pm.

I was about to take a nap when I overheard daddy & mummy’s discussion. They said “实里达” and “咸鱼炒饭“…I was excited, I knew they were planning for a trip.

The whole family got ready and within 15 mins, we were at Upper Seletar Reservoir (实里达蓄水池). Daddy looked at my gorgeous pedicure & manicure and said “Let her ride”.

It was a wonderful stroll, correction…wonderful ride. The sunset was awesome! God painted the sky golden in colour. Me and my sis Talia sat in the same stroller enjoying the sunset with daddy and mummy pushing us along. It was Heavenly!

What else can a doggie ask for?

Along the dam, I saw some stray dogs scouting for food around the rubbish bins. So poor thing. As I watched the sunset, I prayed and thanked God for a lovely family. No, I will not be jealous of my sister Talia ann, I’m already such a blessed girl. I will share my daddy and mummy with her. Amen!

I didn’t know daddy was taking this video when I was looking at those stray dogs.

The family had our favourite 咸鱼炒饭 (near Nee Soon camp) for dinner. I just took in the aroma and enjoyed the moments with my family.
