I got Talia Ann the bumbo seat so that she could sit up and watch the world go by…*grin* well actually so that she can finally read her books sitting up and boy does she like reading! or at least for ALL that 20 seconds she is willing to sit in the chair until she squirms like there are ants in her diapers!

That’s her “twinkle twinkle little star” book, you can choose to have it either sing out the entire song or only have the music accompaniment (where mummy can belt out the song in her glorious voice!!! haa!!!)
The bumbo seat is meant for babies from 4 months to 14 months but as it is right now, I have problems “detaching” Talia ger from the seat when I want to lift her up, somebody has to grab the chair to pull it from her! *peers at her FAT thighs and shake head*

Talia is of a good size. The excess padding is good and will serve well when they’re babies as growth fuel and as cushioning.
Enjoy the bumbo seat while she still can, at least you depreciate it a few more times. Soon when she can sit on her own, she may wonder why dad and mom ever bought that green thing. So enjoy and depreciate now.
Some other parents I know bought bumbo seats. Others improvised. We didn’t get a bumbo seat coz Joella could not fit into one. She was the size of a year old at 4 mths. So we used firm pillows to prop like a makeshift.

Jan <== We have bookshelves ready. Just ordered another 6 books via Scholastic Club.
Fannie <== I love her hearty smile
Eileen <== Bumbo is good, buy pretty costly for that picese of rubber.
Jo <== I think Talia should be able to use it for another few months (if her thighs don’t grow so fast). I think there are resale value for the seat and we intend to.

Hi—first time to your blog. Thank you for visiting mine. Hope to hear more from you.
Such sweet photos. It looks like she’s being held down by a green thing (laugh)!

Hi Kevin,
Talia is such a Happy and Lovely Girl. She must have absorbed all the happiness from daddy & mommy.
Don’t fret on her ‘fat’ thighs, once she start to move around and start walking, she will lose all the ‘fat’ little by little.
cheers,
astee
